QUALIFICATIONS ASSESSMENT (for 38th cycle)
Ten points are assigned to the assessment of candidates’ qualification:
The candidates will make sure to include their curriculum vitae.
The results of the qualifications assessment will be posted on the Department of Brain and Behavioral Sciences (Psychology Section) noticeboard (Piazza Botta n. 11, Pavia) and in the Personal Area of the University website. This can be accessed using the login information provided at the end of the registration procedure.
INTERVIEW
The interview will be held in Italian or English and will verify the candidate’s knowledge of English. The interview will consist of a presentation of the research project and the candidates’ motivations with the aim to verify the candidates’ aptitude for the PhD course research topics, offering the candidates the chance to develop it according with the disciplinary approach they prefer. During the interview, methodological research knowledge, relevant to the field of competence of each candidate, will be evaluated.
The research project presented by the candidate will not, in any way, be binding if the candidate is admitted onto the PhD course.
The minimum score to be admitted to the interview is 7/10.
Candidates resident abroad are allowed to take a web-based interview via videoconference, provided a written e-mail request to concorso-dottorati@unipv.it is made by the deadline reported in the application form. The PhD office will confirm the receipt of such request. Before the interview, candidates will be asked to show the same valid identity document whose details were entered during the application procedure. The University of Pavia does not accept any responsibility for a candidate’s failure to take the interview due to technical difficulties.
