Present position: Full professor of General and Social Pedagogy

Previous positions: Researcher and then Associate Professor of General and Social Pedagogy

Field of interest & Research Activity

  • socialization processes in early childhood with particular attention to the extradomestic institutions of infantile education (day care centres and nursery schools) and definition of a pedagogy of play in early years;
  • : study and set up of approaches and models of teachers’ training based on the promotion of forms of reflective thinking and formative evaluation;
  • methodology of empirical research in the study of educational processes and phenomena with particular attention to the techniques and the instruments of qualitative inquiry (observation, in-depth interviews, field notes) and evaluation strategies (adaptation, elaboration and set up of scales of evaluation of educational contexts).
