Since 1 June 2007 he is Associate Professor in “Applied Dietary Sciences and Techniques” (Disciplinary Scientific Sector MED 49) at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Pavia, Department of Public Health, Neuroscience and Experimental and Forensic Medicine, Section of Food Science and Human Nutrition and affiliated with the Personal Services Company (ASP), Pavia Institutions, Geriatric University Center, with the qualification of Director of the complex metabolic-oriented rehabilitation facility.
In December 2017 she was qualified as Full Professor in Applied Dietary Sciences and Techniques “(Scientific Disciplinary Sector MED 49)
He is director of the School of Specialization in Food Science of the University of Pavia since January 2018
He has published 170 scientific articles in indexed international journals and with Impact Factor.


From September 2014 to June 2016 he collaborated with monthly presences on the transmission Rai Elisir 3.
Since September 2016 he has collaborated with monthly appearances on the Geo Rai 3 broadcast
From September 2016 to June 2017 he collaborated with monthly presences on the transmission Il tempo e soldi Rai 1
Since September 2017, he has been collaborating with weekly appearances on the full health broadcast Rai 3.
