The project aims at exploring the neural correlates of the metric representation of the hand and of manipulable and non-manipulable objects, in patients undergoing intracranial electrophysiological (i-EEG) recordings for diagnostic purposes. Patients are recruited at the Munari Center for Epilepsy Surgery of the Niguarda Hospital in Milan and undergo a computerized task assessing the metric components of hand and object representations. Time-Frequency decomposition of the signal will be performed to extract beta and high-gamma power activity patterns during the retrieval of the hand and object representations.
