A RISK SCORE FOR UNFAVORABLE EVOLUTION OF CLINICALLY ISOLATED SYNDROME (CIS) PATIENTS

The aim of the study is to define a risk score for the prediction of losing NEDA (no evidence of disease activity) status in clinically isolated syndrome patients, through  the analysis of a large set of clinical and instrumental variables (MRI, evoked potentials, cerebrospinal fluid) collected retrospectively and prospectively in patients.

A multicenter observational study will be carried out where the main outcome will be NEDA at 6, 12, 18, 24 month evaluations.

The study will be conducted in collaboration with the MS center of Mondino foundation. The candidate will be involved in inferential analisis. The candidate must have a good knowledge of statistical methods. This project provides sufficient material to carry out one thesis.
